And I got a "very good" both times as she handed them back! Now, 8/10 might not sound great to you, I mean it's not a 9, 10, or 11 out of 10, but my first quizzes? Were atrocious. As in too-asleep-to-write-really-anything-go-meet-with-the-professor-get-a-letter-in-the-mail-and-an-email-from-your-advisor kind of atrocious. So getting 8 out of 10 on both of those and an A on our group project means I might actually pass this dang class. As long as I don't bomb the final paper thing...

Happy Turkey Day!

Haha, look at how awkward my hair is. Yeesh.

I woke up this morning early enough to catch Miley's performance at the Macy's Day Parade! She looked totally cute and so rocked it. Since then I've eaten pancakes (two of them...and now am full and so not in the mood to eat more...oops), showered, straightened my hair (it still looks awkward), listened to most of Kanye's 808s and Heartbreak, and now we're about to go to Chloe's aunt's in Long Island for dinner and football.

The f***ing fire alarm went off at 3:30am. This was more a mild annoyance for me than anything else (after all, I was not rudely awakened), though standing out in the lovely 22° (feels like 12°) wasn’t exactly thrilling. The worst part for me is now a large portion of the floor is now awake and cluttering up my common room. :(

Before I went outside I did take the time to turn off the TV and to eject, turn off, and unplug my hard drive. Heh.

And this guy didn't have hair half as cool as mine. By the way? The size of that apple is not exaggerated in the least. I am holding it up against my nose and it covers the better part of my face.

There was a Harvest Fair thing tonight in the Dining Hall (after dinner) and I loaded my pockets with apples (real apples), pears, and a Milk poster. I also made a caramel apple and had a wee glass of apple cider. Simply lovely! And free! Anyway, that's one honkin' apple, and the one I covered with caramel was about the same size. OM NOM NOM!

OMG It's a neue Tokio Hotel DVD!

Tokio Hotel DVD Caught On Camera Preview [Eng Subs]

I want this. Standard, Deluxe, or Deluxe + T-shirt package. Heh. No, but seriously. I absolutely love watching Tokio Hotel TV every week (even though I, without fail, forget that it's coming) and since the beginning I've been hoping for a DVD with some, if not all of the episodes. The fact that this is coming out with extra footage, interviews and studio footage on the deluxe editions (hint hint), and it's NTSC/Region 0? Freakin' wonderful. I love you, Tokio Hotel.
